The Price Is Right Wiki

Lisa Stahl (born on March 19, 1965 in Miami, Florida, now known as Lisa Stahl-Sullivan) is an American Model, Actress, TV Hostess and Businesswoman. She is a former cheerleader for the Miami Dolphins as well as appearing as one of the three models on the short-lived syndicated, nighttime version of The Price is Right, hosted by Doug Davidson.

Early Life, Modeling & Acting Career[]

Born in Miami, Florida and a graduate of North Miami High School. She later became a cheerleader for the Miami Dolphins.

Lisa then went on to blossom her way into a successful modeling career throughout the 1980s and most of the 90s. In 1984, she was featured in the late George Michael music video Careless Whisper as the scorned girlfriend, escaping on a plane leaving Michael stranded at the harbor staring up at her, and pleading for her return.

Aside from modeling, Lisa also blossomed as an accomplished TV and Movie actress. She played the role of Destiny Desimone on the David Hasselhoff hit series Baywatch and it's short-lived spin-off series Baywatch Nights. As well as other guest starring roles on shows such as Murphy Brown, NYPD Blue, Married...With Children, and Ellen.

Some of her movie credit include appearances in films such as Jerry Maguire with Tom Cruise, Heart Condition with Denzel Washington, Calendar Girl with Beverly Hills 90210 star Jason Priestley, and the Disney films The Thirteenth Year and Safety Patrol.

Game Show Appearances[]

In 1988, Stahl appeared as a contestant on the NBC Game Show Super Password (hosted by late Game Show emcee Bert Convy), appearing in two episodes playing alongside celebrity players, actress/comedienne Marsha Warfield from Night Court and future Law & Order star Jerry Orbach. Lisa described herself as a make-up distributor and a then-newly resident of the Los Angeles area, she won a grand total of $1,600 in her two appearances on the program (airdates November 28th & 29th). Lisa later appeared as a contestant on the fifth pilot episode of the 1990s revival of Match Game, which was also hosted by Bert Convy (but the series itself would be hosted by actor/comedian & former late night talk show host Ross Shafer).

In the mid-1990s, Lisa would make a return to the Game Show World after she auditioned for and landed the job as one of the models on the newly syndicated, nighttime version of The Price is Right as the series made it's televised debut on (airdate) September 12, 1994 (the same day as the daytime version's 23rd Season Premiere show) and was hosted by Doug Davidson, the former actor who was best known to Soap Opera Audiences as Paul Williams on the CBS soap opera The Young and The Restless (which taped across the hall from Price). Joining Lisa on this newly syndicated, nighttime version of Price as the models were former Playboy model/centerfold Julie Lynn Cialini and print/fashion model & actress Ferrari Farris and to round out the new cast was seasoned television veteran Burton Richardson as the announcer (and would later go on to sub-announce on the daytime version with host Bob Barker in the 2000s).

This new version of Price would only last just 80 episodes as the unannounced final episode aired in December of '94 with reruns continuing to air until January 1995. There were many factors that contributed to the series being ultimately cancelled: one was the show had faced increasing competition as it faced-off against the most popular and highly-rated programs in syndication which included The Oprah Winfrey Show (in New York City) and the highly-rated syndicated game shows Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune (in Los Angeles). Another factor was because of low ratings as the series had fallen victim to the OJ Simpson trial and the infamous high-speed chase on the Los Angeles freeway back in June 1994 as the major television networks and all media news outlets aired almost non-stop coverage of Simpson's trial, preempting several television programs, which included the syndicated, nighttime version of Price on some networks, while on other networks, the show often found itself in late night time slots which ultimately killed the series.

Also in '94 (shortly before to becoming one of the TNPIR models), Lisa appeared as the prize model for the unsold lottery-themed game show pilot called Cash Tornado which hosted by legendary game show icon Jim Perry (as this would be his final public appearance) and was announced by the late Gene Wood, which also used the set and theme music from Davidson's Price.

Two years after the cancellation of the Davidson nighttime version of The Price is Right, Lisa would return to the Game Show scene once again as she landed the job as co-hostess of the Florida state lottery game show Flamingo Fortune, co-hosting the series alongside Michael Young (replacing original host & hostess JD Roberto & Heather Alexander). The series was broadcasted at the Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and appearing as the announcer, ironically, was future Price is right announcer Rich Fields, who also once filled in as a guest-host. The final episode of Flamingo Fortune aired on February 28, 1999.

Business & Current Career[]

As an entrepreneur, Lisa launched Sullivan Studios sometime in 1996, providing photographic services to the Los Angeles entertainment community. Clients have included Hollywood celebrities and legendary music icons like Elton John, Prince, Mary J. Blige, Fugees, Pierce Brosnan, Rod Stewart, Jessica Simpson and many more. Stahl was also worked as FremantleMedia’s exclusive photographer for the competition series American Idol (for four seasons) as well as other shows including Celebrity Duets, America's Got Talent and Family Feud.

As of today, Lisa is (or formally) active on social media. She has her own twitter page and blog under the name "Lisalicious".
