Perfect Bid: The Contestant Who Knew Too Much was a documentary film where it explores how Ted Slauson became adept at recording and memorizing prices of the products that were featured on The Price is Right.

Premise[]

Former studio audience member and contestant Ted Slauson became infatuated at memorizing prices on The Price is Right as it culminates Slauson helping a contestant (Terry Kniess) bid perfectly on a showcase on November 27, 2008 (#4524K, aired out of order on December 16) which resulted in one of the biggest controversies in game show history that was covered in Time Magazine, Esquire and TMZ.
