
Philippe Risoli (born September 9, 1953 in Saint-Ouen) is a French radio and television presenter. He became a comedian and also unsuccessfully attempted a career at singing.

Birth and Formation[]
Risoli was born in Saint-Ouen to a French mother and an Italian father. He studied law (master's degree in private law) and information and communication sciences (master's degreee) at the University of Paris 2 Assas.
Media Career[]
Host of Canal + and FR3 (1986 - 1988)[]
Risoli presented Star Quizz (Star Quiz) question game from February 10, 1986 until September 6, 1987 on the Canal+ channel then the talk show Direct, still on Canal+ during the 1987-1988 season. He also presented La Nouvelle Facile (The New Easy) from 1986 to 1987 on FR3.

After Le Juste Prix (2001 - 2009)[]
After the elimination of Le Juste Prix (The Right Price) [A French version of The Price is Right], he launched into singing by hosting Les Copains d'accords (Chord Buddies) on RFM TV, a musical program and released his first album called Autre (Other), whose song he describes as close to the style of Louis Chedid. Only one single was released: Cuitas les Bananas (Cook the Bananas) which was mocked by the press and critics and only sold 979 copies. In the song, he mentions between the lines his ouster from the Millionnaire game.
Risoli participated twice in the Grand Concours des Animateurs (Grand Competition for Animators) presented by Carole Rousseau on TF1.
Disappeared from the small screen after his ouster from TF1, he returned on April 30, 2005 to participate in the season of La Femme Celebrites (The Celebrity Woman), a TF1 reality tv show. He remained their until the day of his elimination in the semi-finals on June 17, 2005. He defended the association Les petits princes (The Little Princes) which takes care of seriously ill children that were affected by cancer, leukemia and generic diseases.
Risoli remains on TF1, but since 2001, the network has not offered him and concrete project.
Despite the failure of his first musical attempted, he relaunched himself in music and released in December 2008 with his second album titled Semblant to Believe (Seeming to Believe) composed of 11 tracks which can only be purchased on a legal platform on the internet.
Host of Gulli (2009 - 2012)[]
Risoli returned to television on the Gulli channel in 2009 where he presented a more modern version of L'ecole des supporters (The School of Fans) in September 26, 2009. Moreover, L'Ecole des fans (Fan School) on Guilli recorded very good audience, because it attracted an average of 300,000 viewers in 2009 - 2010 it is therefore a winning return for Risoli. However, Risoli himself announces on August 22, 2012 that there will be no recordings of the show.
In 2014, Willy Rovelli succeeded him in presenting the show.
Presenting of the Miss Excellence France election (since 2019)[]
On January 12, 2019; he is the master of ceremonies for the Election of Miss Excellence France on Le Grand-Lille tv channel of local Lille television. He presents the second edition on January 20, 2020 which is broadcasted on local and regional channels including IDF 1.
Actor in Piege a Matignon (Trap in Matignon)[]
In September 2013, Risoli played the role of Francois alongside Nathalie Marquay in the play Piege a Matignon (Trap in Matignon) by Jean-Pierre Pernaut.
Private Life[]
Risoli currently lives in the 6th of Paris with his wife Anne along with his two children.
