From Seasons 2 to 26, double showcase winners whose difference had to be less than $100 to win both showcases.
Since Season 27, double showcase winners whose difference had to be within $250 or less to meet the potential.
On primetime shows, double showcase winners whose difference had to be within $1,000 or less to meet the potential since Season 36. Present day, you have to be $500 or less to meet the potential.
